Within every breed there are different types. This dog reminded me of the early Goldens that were so prized for their working abilities. Lighter in bone and coat that the modern Golden Retriever, this type is used extensively in agility competition because of its athleticism and edge. It is said that there is no such thing as “the perfect dog”. In general I would have to agree but I think a good Golden Retriever comes pretty close to fitting the description!
