"Bee Balm" is most commonly found in the flower borders of New England farm houses but it does go to seed and can spread into the field.  It has a very distinct fragrance.

Every dog has its own pointing style or posture.  Sometimes it depends on terrain and wind direction and sometimes it is just the character of the dog.
