Long considered one of the most successful species on earth, the dog has figured us out and we love it. 

The relationship between humans and dogs has never been richer than it is today.  With the explosion of dog sports like agility and rally, field trials and fly-ball, many dog owners are also becoming dog trainers.  Companies are starting to let employees bring their dogs to work.  Businesses and careers are being built around dogs.  The twenty first century is truly experiencing a dog renaissance.

My paintings are in pastel and acrylic glaze (thin layers built up).  Sometimes they are just pastel or just acrylic and sometimes I combine the two.  It all depends on the project.
