My approach to portraiture is a little different. As one of my clients once said,

"You don't just paint dogs, you create entire worlds."

My portraits are in Acrylic glaze on panels. I work on panels and not canvas or linen because the panel surface is more suited to my technique. The samples here are current and change often. Below is a brief price guide which should be considered a general guide only. The price of my portraits depends on size, number of figures and complexity.

I do not work from existing photos unless the subject is deceased. I take all my own resource photos. I charge for all travel expenses if the client is outside of New England.

Clients are required to fill out and sign a commission agreement and return it with a 50% deposit before work begins. The artist retains all rights to the image.
