| Price- 2009
My portraits are in pastel over wash or in graphite. The dog (or dogs) is fully developed and the background is sketched in. The four samples above illustrate this style. I love this format because it keeps the focus on the dog and it enables me to keep the price down.
11” X 14” ---- $1,600.00
16” X 20” ---- $2,400.00
20” X 24” ---- $3,200.00

Add 30% for each additional dog.

Procedure:
The client receives a brief commission agreement. Upon returning the agreement and a 50% deposit a photography session is scheduled. I only work from my own resource photos so travel expenses outside of New England add to the price.
What you are paying for:
The commission of a portrait means that you own the original. It does not mean that you own the copyright. The artist retains all rights.
